Most recently PPC has pioneered the move from the traditional reactive approach to employee assistance, to a more pro-active approach.
The traditional EAP approach focuses on reacting to the needs of the 13% of employees whose performance is significantly affected by behavioural problems, emotional distress and poor coping skills. Instead PPC focuses on a more positive, preventative programme of information, advice, training and other professional services that also supports the 60% of employees that suffer from mild stress, anxiety or distraction caused by the challenges of daily life.
By providing support to meet the needs of these 60% of employees it allows us to identify potential issues at the earliest opportunity, before they have an impact on performance and a long term effect on the individual.
PPC also continues to provide support to the 13% of people who’s performance, whether in their personal or working life is significantly affected.
